In 2010, Rista (then a Director at Finlay Brewer) moved to the South of France with his family to work as a property consultant in Monaco. We encouraged him to return in 2014 to develop our international consultancy project. He now spends his time between London and Monaco providing a personalised service to our  clients in both cities. On the rare occasion when Rista has a spare minute, he can be found in the gym or on the beach with his family.

With an unstoppable drive and 15 years of international property experience, Cheryl now works alongside Rista in Monaco. Cheryl’s time is spent coordinating with clients in our Monaco office as well as running the marketing and PR for Finlay Brewer International. After spending many years living between Australia and London, she has now made south of France her home. Her hobbies… hiking in the mountains, swimming in the Med and red wine!

Anne-Marie has 25 years of knowledge and experience in the local market and her ethos of offering high levels of personal service matches our own.  Having worked closely with Rista in Monaco, Anne-Marie set up her own real estate agency before joining forces with Finlay Brewer.

We were recommended to help a client who was looking to move to Monaco from Northern Europe.

Our client had identified Monaco for its lifestyle and tax benefits. We were recommended because of our connections within Monaco and the fact that we are bilingual (English/French) with experience of living and working in both cultures.  It was believed we would understand the client’s needs and wants.  We met with the client along with our local financial adviser, we listened to what the client wanted and discussed what might be available within the budget and the benefits of the different areas in Monaco.

The requirement was to find an apartment in a traditional building in Monaco with scope to remodel and refurbish.

Such properties are usually snapped up by local developers and as there was not much available on the market, we needed to look into sourcing off-market properties as well as talking to agents within our networks.  We have a positive relationship with many agencies in Monaco and we keep in touch with these regularly to keep up to date with what is selling and what is coming to the market.

In this case, one of our network agencies had a client looking to sell a traditional property in a particularly special location, without marketing.  We previewed this and six other properties across Monaco for our client, we drew up a shortlist but we knew this was the property.  The client viewed the properties on the shortlist and agreed that this was the property for them. An offer was made and negotiated and our client was successful in the purchase.
