Founding Partner. Teresa started her career in commercial property agency and moved to residential agency in Brook Green in 1988. Teresa set up the sales side of the business when the company opened in 1992. Her boundless energy is focused on keeping Finlay Brewer as the “go to” agent in the area. Outside work Teresa has a passion for exercise and spends most weekends on the South Coast.
Founding Partner. Simon’s background in architecture and building led him naturally to set up and run the lettings and management side of the business. Simon’s time is now devoted to overseeing the Lettings and Management team, developing Finlay Brewer’s community links and looking for new opportunities for the Finlay Brewer brand. His weekends are with his family and he is learning the art/science of beekeeping.
Partner. Paul moved to London from Dublin in 1985 and initially worked in the city as an insurance broker from where he moved to Petplan where he was the first Director of Equine. Paul has been described as the “heart of Finlay Brewer”, his passion for property is legendary and his results are unequalled. Paul has a busy and eclectic social life.
Sales Broker. Penny was pursuing a career in award winning TV production when, while producing a property programme, she realised she HAD TO work in estate agency. Local girl Penny, who is partial to exercise and “happy food”, says: “After living in the area for over 20 years there’s not much I don’t know about what it has to offer”.
Sales Broker. Experienced beyond his years, Jack spent 6 years working on political campaigns before joining Finlay Brewer. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him on a sports field or behind the microphone at one of West London’s many karaoke nights. As a former barista, he can recommend plenty of local coffee spots!
Administration and Compliance Executive. Calm and wonderfully organised, Sophie is the perfect foil for our outgoing and busy sales team, she keeps them all under control. We lured Soph from a comfortable life in telecommunications. Sophie has a spectacular collection of shoes, these alone are worth the trip to our office!
Shepherd’s Bush Sales Team
Sales Office Manager. Possibly one of the most stylish people we have, it’s worth coming in to get some fashion and beauty tips from the great Debs. Very passionate Six Nations Rugby fan (WALES!) she enjoys 60’s music, jiving and evenings down the pub with an ice cold glass of wine.
Sales Broker. Utilising his Irish charm, Dublin born James is a fantastic asset to the Askew Road sales team. He has been a property finder for the last 2 years. He is useless at most sports but does try his hand at golf and tennis, being typically Irish though, he likes Guinness and a good chat.
Head of the Lettings Team. Chef, drinkologist, husband, dad, wordsmith, publican and quiz master Jon took his time discovering estate agency. Good things come to those who wait. Jon is an experienced long distance runner and will casually run the 8 miles to and from work rather than take a car. He is working to become the best estate agent in the world, probably.
Lettings Broker. Monaco born Thomas is in London to gain international experience in Real Estate. Trained in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour, Tom has worked in France, United States and Italy and plans to run his own estate agency in Monaco one day. Tom relaxes at top speed in particular, on skis or on his racing motorbike.
Lettings Broker. Having worked in estate agency and property development for over 10 years, Callum has a wealth of knowledge in the property market. He’s worked all over central and west London, before happily settling at Finlay Brewer. A lover of red wine and BBQs, he can be found most mornings at the gym in an attempt to counter the effects of his love (and the constant supply of chocolate in the office). Callum will definitely play a strong role in our Tough Mudder Team.
Lettings Administrator. Colombia born Monica, an MBA graduate, moved to London 5 years ago. With 7 years’ experience in quality control and process improvement Monica is an efficient and effective colleague. Out of the office Monica’s time is spent with family, books and at the gym.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM
Property Manager. Andrew has a degree in law and as a result is the sharp end of Property Management stick. Now on his second stretch at Finlay Brewer Andrew returned to us in 2009 having gained valuable experience in a corporate chain. Live by the contract or incur the talons of the law. Andrew is married and has recently been blessed with twins.
Property Manager. Candy started her career in banking and has been in property management for 7 years. When not at work Candy is a busy lady chasing her young son around the childrens’ party circuit! Given the chance of some relaxation time she rides horses or experiments in the kitchen. Brutally efficient and widely knowledgeable our super mum is a fabulous asset to the team.
Property Manager. Abby looks after our building contracts and refurbishments. She has built a strong team of contractors around her and will tackle anything from refreshing a bathroom to a full refurbishment. Abby is an excellent horsewoman and a talented gardener.
In 2010 Rista, who was at that time a Director at Finlay Brewer, moved to the South of France with his family where he worked as a property consultant in Monaco. We encouraged him to return in 2014 to develop our international consultancy project. He now spends his time between London and Monaco servicing clients in both cities. Rista doesn’t have much spare time but when he does he can be found in the gym or on the beach with his family.
It’s Cheryl’s hard work in the background that makes Rista so efficient. Cheryl’s time is spent coordinating with clients in our Monaco office as well as running the marketing and PR for Finlay Brewer International. After spending many years living between Australia and London, she has now made south of France her home. Her hobbies include red wine, learning French and Formula 1.
