In the last few weeks we have sold a cross section of properties from a fabulous top floor duplex apartment in W3 for £550,000, to a wide and elegant 6 bedroom family house in Brook Green for £4m. Despite the negativity in the market we are selling properties that are priced correctly.
For those looking to buy, supply levels are on the increase too, providing more choice. In the longer term, we are starting to hear more encouraging noises around Brexit and we are looking forward to some positive decisions and announcements that will bring confidence back to the country.
There are also encouraging statements from the government regarding increasing the supply of affordable housing. With news that they will allow councils to borrow money to build new homes. After decades of shortfalls however, it will take quite some time before it has any real effect on the rest of the market.
