Saturday 16th May, Hammersmith Community Gardens Association (HCGA) invites shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, schools and businesses in the Askew Road to take part in the 3rd Annual Edible Askew Road event which is part of the London-wide Chelsea Fringe. The rationale behind the event is to bring the local community together and green up the street and our theme this year will be based on Eric Carle’s popular children’s book The Hungry Caterpillar.

Local environmental charity, Hammersmith Community Gardens Association have teamed up with Askew Business Network to coordinate the event that will feature events in the lead up to and on the
day at Askew Library, activities on Starch Green and a treasure trail along the Askew Road. This event is part the London-wide Chelsea Fringe, a festival of flowers, gardens and gardening held across
London over three weeks to coincide with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
